The North Shore Junior Golf Association (NSJGA), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 2004 and in 2006 entered into a license agreement with The First Tee to become The First Tee of Hawaii. For 10 years the NSJGA dba The First Tee of Hawaii offered programs to the youth of Hawaii state-wide. Recently the NSJGA ended its license agreement with The First Tee and adopted a new trade name 'Aloha State Junior Golfers' and a new mission: "To provide golf instruction and educational programs to the youth of Hawaii and their families that promote character development and build healthy family relations." Along with their new mission, the organization will focus on fun and family.
Current program sites are: On Oahu at the Bay View Driving Range, Hickam AFB Par 3, and on the Big Island at the Kona Country Club.
